As we reflect on the closing chapter of 2024, we’re thrilled to share the highlights of another successful year at Cloud9 Business Services. We’ve worked with a number of clients, on our 365 User Adoption programme. The programme has played a pivotal role in optimising business efficiencies and enhancing user experiences, by harnessing the capabilities of 365 applications. Our Networks team have been busy looking after our clients with connectivity, voice calling, mobile, and contact centre solutions. We’ve also supported our strategic partners in delivering a number of successful projects, through our training and consultancy services, in Microsoft 365 & Teams, contact centres, and connectivity solutions. We’re thrilled to announce that we are now an approved supplier on the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) G-Cloud 14 framework, making it even easier for public sector organisations to access our training and consultancy services.
This achievement highlights our dedication to providing top-tier consultancy and training services, across Microsoft 365, Teams, Contact Centre and Digital Transformation projects.

New Microsoft Teams Chat and Channel Experience – No More “Teams” ?!
Microsoft have introduced a new chat and channels experience designed to enhance collaboration, streamline communication and simplify our digital workspace. It will be delivered to our desktops from January.
Here are some of the new features:
Unified View: Chats, teams and channels are now integrated into a single view, making it easier to manage conversations without switching contexts.
Custom Sections: You can create custom sections to organise your chats and channels based on projects or topics, allowing for a more personalised workspace.
Improved Filters: New filters help you prioritise conversations, such as unread messages or muted chats, so you can focus on what matters most.
@Mentions View: A dedicated view for @mentions ensures you never miss important messages directed at you, keeping you in the loop effortlessly.
Flexible Channel Management: Channels can now be displayed separately from teams, allowing for better organisation and easier access to relevant discussions.
Message Previews: You can enable message previews to quickly see the content of messages without opening them, enabling you to triage conversations and prioritise accordingly.
Streamlined Messaging: Initiating chats or channel posts has been simplified, allowing you to start conversations without navigating to specific channels first.
